Apple introduced iOS 8.2 along with Apple’s latest wearable device “Apple watch”. Jailbreak iOS 8.2 is not possible at the moment. Also iOS 8.1.3 yet to be jailbroken. Lot’s of people are waiting for new jailbreak tool supporting to jailbreak iOS 8.2 and 8.1.3. Meanwhile TaiG team has organized an event for jailbreak developers at China which is going to held on 27th March. It would be a perfect situation to release a new jailbreak tool for TaiG team if they already have one. But we cannot overestimate this because we know Apple patched up all exploits used by TaiG and Pangu when they release iOS 8.2 beta3.
Jailbreak iOS 8.2 beta2
Last time TaiG updated their too to jailbreak iOS 8.2 beta2. It’s not a wonder because the iOS 8.2 beta 2 were released long time before iOS 8.1.3 released. So we believe all TaiG vulnerabilities were remain safe in iOS 8.2 beta 2. You can download TaiG 1.3 for jailbreak iOS 8.2 beta2 if your device have it.
Jailbreak iOS 8.1.3
iOS 8.1.3 remains unjailbroken although iOS 8.2 beta2 is jailbroken. We mentioned the reason for that clearly above. Same story for iOS 8.1.3, Taig and Pangu failed to jailbreak iOS 8.1.3. What we can hope is someone will release a tool which compatible to jailbreak both of these versions.
Downgrade iOS 8.2
You can jailbreak iOS 8.2 running device if you could downgrade your device into iOS 8.1.2. Unfortunately you cannot downgrade iOS 8.2 or iOS 8.1.3 at the moment. Tinyumbrella released an updated version of their tool. It’s capable of creating blobs of iOS 8.2 devices. But Tinyumbrella can’t restore blobs on iOS 8.2 devices yet. Yuo’ll be able to downgrade iOS 8.2 if they added such feature to Tinyumbrella.
Upgrade to iOS 8.2
We know you might love to have the latest version of iOS. But there’s no big deal between iOS 8.1.2 and iOS 8.2 except performance enhancements and bug fixes. Cydia worths more than the update. If you have iOS 8.1.2, we adviced you to remain in this iOS version because we don’t know when will release a tool for Jailbreak iOS 8.2.
